Capabilities

Choose how you work

Measure a point

Measure a point

Use Touch as a rover with a compatible mapping app. Connect over Bluetooth or USB and bring precise positions into your field workflow.

Supply your own corrections

Supply your own corrections

Set up Touch as a base for compatible rovers or drone controllers using a supported connection. The optional 915 MHz radio provides a direct link between RoboDot devices.

Keep observations for later

Keep observations for later

Record raw observations for conversion to RINEX and post-processing. Keep the data you need beyond the day in the field.

RoboNet VRS corrections are a separate subscription — compare the 100H GIS and PRO tiers on RoboNet VRS plans and pricing. Already own a receiver? Keep its firmware current with Wingman maintenance.

Automation

Drive it with AI — or your own code

RoboDot Touch speaks plain HTTP + JSON on your local network — no SDK, no cloud account, no tokens. The complete API is published as a ready-made AI agent skill: paste one page into Claude, a GPT, or your own tooling and your agent can run the receiver.

Conversational control

"Wait for a Fixed solution, then mark the point" — switch modes, record, and stake out by asking.

Live position stream

A WebSocket pushes position, fix quality, and health once a second — no polling loops.

Custom interfaces

Build dashboards and field tools on the same simple API the built-in web UI uses.

Credential-safe

Agents act by profile name. WiFi and VRS secrets stay on the device — never in the conversation.

FAQ

RoboDot Touch questions, answered

Does Bluetooth make the position more accurate?

Bluetooth carries positions to a compatible app. RTK combines satellite measurements with correction data to improve positioning accuracy.

Do I need the radio option?

Choose it for radio communication between RoboDot devices. The optional 915 MHz radio is for RoboDot-to-RoboDot links. Internet-based NTRIP corrections use a separate connection path.

Can I use my current phone or tablet?

Compatibility depends on the app, operating system, and connection method. Check the RoboDot guides or send us the combination you plan to use.

What should I send when asking for help?

Tell us what you measure, where you work, and which phone, app, drone, or rover you already own. We can help you choose the right setup.
