Replacement Guide
Looking for a Duro GNSS Alternative?
Swift Navigation's Duro earned its following: a rugged, dual-frequency RTK receiver at a price that didn't require a survey department. It is no longer sold, which leaves Duro owners and evaluators shopping for a receiver that is still in production, still supported, and still sanely priced. That is the slot RoboDot Touch was built for.
Still in Production
RoboDot Touch: the working-crew RTK receiver
- Multi-band, multi-constellation — GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou across L1/L2/E1/E5b/B1I, centimeter accuracy with corrections
- Four modes in one unit — base station, rover, static logger, and range-extending repeater
- NTRIP both directions — serve corrections from your own base or subscribe to RoboNet VRS
- Standalone in the field — touch screen, browser interface, 10+ hour battery, Bluetooth LE output to your apps
- Supported from Dallas — firmware updates, engineering support, and a maintenance program that keeps fielded units current
- Documented in public — evaluate the full user guide at docs.robota.us before spending a dollar

Straight Answer
Where it fits — and where it doesn't
A strong fit if your Duro was used for…
- Base station duty feeding RTK corrections to drones or rovers
- Survey and stakeout work with an NTRIP correction source
- GIS-grade and survey-grade data collection on foot or vehicle
- Static observation logging for OPUS and post-processing
Talk to us first if you need…
- Permanent machine-mount integration exposed to washdown or submersion — RoboDot Touch is IP55, built for field work rather than implement mounting
- A raw integration board rather than a complete field instrument
We would rather tell you it's the wrong fit than sell you one —describe the deployment and we'll give you a straight answer.
Migrating is mostly familiar
If you ran a Duro with NTRIP corrections, the workflow carries over: RTCM3 in, NMEA out over Bluetooth, TCP, or USB, and standard mounts. Start with our guides on RTK corrections and running your own base station, or send us your current setup and we'll map the replacement for you.
